NEW NEVADA RECREATIONAL MARIJUANA LAWS AND YOU

Medical Marijuana was legalized in Nevada in June 2013. Three years later, 2016, it became legal for recreational use as well. This is a great place to start with the heavy tourism in the city of Las Vegas.

As of December 2018, here is what Nevada has approved so far:

Owner requirements:

Municipalities reserve the right to ban or place moratoriums on the license of growing operations if they do not comply with local regulations. You must do your research before getting into the area too avoid being penalized and never getting to own again in the state. Applicants are required to use seed-to-sale tracking software to account for their entire inventory.

Financial requirements:

To purchase a Nevada marijuana cultivation license a one-time application fee of $5,000 is required.

The Department may require payment of an annual licensing fee not to exceed:

For the initial issuance of a license for a marijuana cultivation facility: $30,000
For a renewal license for a marijuana cultivation facility: $10,000
For the initial issuance of a license for a marijuana product manufacturing facility: $10,000
For a renewal license for a marijuana product manufacturing facility: $3,300
